//:Wesson :\\ Although it pained me to think of things such as love I had wandered these terras for the past few days. I had always promised myself taht I would never go looking for love, never; now look at me. I had failed myself. I had failed whomever I was to love. I snorted angrily at the ground as I slowed my speed from a cantered, to a stiff legged trot. It was a threatening pace and a rough one at that, putting pressure on my legs as they met the earth, but I didn't really care. I snorted again, letting my tassels fall down infront of my eyes as I tail flicked from side to side. The dim moonlight played it's melodies upon my back as the night danced across my black pelt. My hooves shiny as my tail flicked the last bit of water from me as I moved away from the river. I had to swim across it to get over here, something that I had been avoiding the time I had been here. Maybe mares like the grass on the other side of the brooke. I chuckled at the thought, what did it matter anyways? I was here, and they weren't, grass wasn't going to change that. Snorting I halted and lifted my head, eyeing my tassels as they flung back and behind me. My mane and tail finally coming to a stop and I lifted my skull, up towards the moon and whinnied at it, a calling, but somewhat angry call...

I held my head high as I strode by the slow water. My large hooves churned up the sandy soil, flinging it far behind me. A young whore attempted to rush up and meet me, but was stopped by a shower of dirt. I bottled up the laughter, and released it in a loud snort. I knew it was hard to be picky in the hard times of today, but I wouldn't let my standards fall by that much. I skidded to a halt as I heard a familiar sounds. A small smirk played on my maw. Wesson. I didn't hate the stallion at all. Yes, we were competiters, but he was a friend to a certain extent. I watched as he jumped into the river, and leapt in after him. My powerful legs made a few strong thrusts, and I swam across quickly. My feathering fluttered loosely around my hooves, and stuck to them as I reached the other side. I smirked at wesson, and threw my head clumsily in a greeting. "Wesson, Wesson, Wesson" Luna grasped at my body, but was thrown off by the white on my body. "Is this how you spend your time nowadays?" My ears moved around, acting as a radar for any movement.

//:Wesson:\\ I turned my head towards the figure, recognising at once whom it could be, and of course whom it was. Hollow, that old fool. I turned, my sapphire gaze meeting his alike, how could I have forgotten about this old stallion, I was sure that our paths would meet again someday. "I could say the same Hollow. Looking a little run down no aren't we?" I retorted and flicked my tail. My black pelt shown brightly in the moonlight and my mane and tail swung limply but brightly in the shine of the moon draped high in the night. Although I hadn't been properly groomed in the last few years i had managed to keep my mane and tail under control, like any good friesian, and my coat was washed often in the rivers on my travels. I snorted and turned to face the brute. My dark muscles rippling under my thin but warm pelt. I placed a hoof in front of me and dipped my head lightly, "So nice to see a familiar face eh?

A grin cracked on my maw as my old fellow recognized me. Stallions would rarely meet up in a place of mares, and that was what was great about this little reunion. I enjoyed setting myself out from the crowds. I snorted, my breath crystallizing with the growing cold. Strangely, after months of little grooming and equine contact, my coat was soft and luscious. My long tail was set with a gentle wave. A persistent gust of wind picked up my mane, and tugged at it mercilessly. “Nonsense. I was just going to say how the mighty have fallen” Another grin plastered onto my maw, renewing the last and making it wider. I tensed my muscles, reminding Wesson he wasn’t talking to some normal, smaller horse. “Guess you could say that. What’s been keeping ya busy lately then?” I spoke in a light voice, conversationally for sure. I normally was snappy and cruel hearted to others, but Wesson was a good match for my antics. It was evident that the stallion standing in front of me was only one of the few that had met my comic chatty side.

//:Wesson:\\ Now there was a question, what in the world had I been doing this entire time? I was sure I had been in the claiming grounds more than once, although none of the prisy mares struck my calm and collected fancy. I would often snort and turn away to kick or bite at them, leaving them to scurry away. I had though, met a passing friend. She was none other than my sister, Broken Liberty. She was a friesian just like me. She had recently excaped the human world, like I had so many years ago, and I was forever grateful to see her shining face again. That is, if dark and emotional strikes your sense of shining. She had beena joy to talk to, with news from the world I missed only in my dreams. A worl di remembered only in my dreams. A world I wished, had only been my dreams. I snorted and took a step forwards, flicking my harks backwards, and then forwards again, followed by a rest of a back hock and a sigh. I smiled again, "Catching up with old friends. Hearing news about old homes and such. Nothing too exciting." I answered, my mind trailing off thinking of Liberty and the old world again. "And you dear Hollow? What have you been scrounging up over the days? keeping your standards high I hope?" I asked. The stallion was a friendly face to see, but still competition nevertheless. First come first serve as I always had said. But the stallion was interesting, much like myself, and he kept my on my... well... hooves I guess I could say, trying to think up another witty remark to shoot back. Suddenly a sound reached my auds, a call from a mare perhaps? I turned back to Hollow with a smile, "Well, might as well see what the cat dragged in. Another time Hollow." I turned and chuckled lightly as I trotted off into the brush.
