Black visage dipped majestically, as if bowing to its superior. Towering on a crest of a hill was a great black stag. His name was Anauma.
Those who did not know him knew him differently. They knew him as a legend, the ruthless killer who had murdered his sire and dam and many more. He mercilessly inflicted huge amounts of pain upon his forebears, torturing them until the moment that they had breathed their last breath, had screamed their last scream, had suffered through the last pain that they would ever feel. They did not love him through the months that he had become a great stallion. They never cared about him, they never flicked the flies off of him or cared for him affectionately. Because of this treatment he had had an opportunity to become a great dark, a true dark, and he had taken that opportunity.
Only true darks could see him. Only he could see through true eyes. Only through true eyes could he see. And what he saw was Kembolia--the loam that he wished to rule, the terra that spoke to him so clearly, Welcome home, Anauma.
