Clans of Old is a RolePlaying website based on the Warriors book series by Erin Hunter.
This RP is set in a time many, many moons before the Clans in the Warriors books. Twolegs are still in the primitive states of their development, and travel around in nomadic tribes. Instead of the traditional ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and WindClan, four completely new (or old, in this case) Clans of warrior cats roam the forest.
TreeClan: TreeClan lives in the Oak Forest, with plentiful prey, and a safe, secure camp. Their territory includes: the Barrenstones, the Willow Pond, the Tall Cliff, and the Hidden Valley.

MarshClan: MarshClan lives on swampy terrain, with bogs and marshes. Their camp is enclosed in a dense thicket of brambles. MarshClan territory includes: Cedar Hill, the Bramble Thickets, the Bogs, and the Pine Woods.
RiverClan: RiverClan territory is covered in grasslands, where some small prey can be found. Their camp is located near the River and all its bounty. Their territory includes: the Island, the Waterfall, the Gorge, and the Rainbow Bridge.
DesertClan: DesertClan lives in a deserty stretch of land, with small, stunted creosote bushes, and dry, sandy dunes. DesertClan territories include: the Eagle’s Nest, the Oasis, the Gorge, and the Sand Dunes.
The objective of Clans of Old is to be constantly discovering new pieces of territory for the Clans. If one Clan finds new territory, and another Clan wants it, then the RPers of the cats from those Clans will send in pictures of what they think the new territory looks like. The Clan who has the most useable pictures vouching for it will win the battle.
Our goal is to eventually develop the territory into that of the Clans in the first Warriors book series. This will take a long time, and so members will always be occupied having fun with new territories, battles, etc.
All ceremonies, customs, and rules of the Warrior code are used correctly, with several differences due to the fact that this RP is set in a time before our own. There are Gatherings, battles, and contests for territory, and these fun activities include all members.
Not only can you have a cat in the forest, but you can also have Kittypets, Loners, and Rogues, as well as deceased cats in StarClan (the dead cats are used in prophetic dreams, Leader ceremonies, etc.)
