Long ago, before the dawn of man, unicorns and pegasi roamed the earth freely under the watch of the First Born, Valterra and Ulivane. The sons and daughters of the immortal pair were the rulers of the elements, who spawned children of their own for years to come, mingling with the then untainted bloodlines of the wild horses. But when humans arrived, the war began between covetous men and innocent beasts. The most ancient of equine kin were hunted, bartered, their land stolen from beneath their very hooves. The world reeked with the filth and recklessness of sinful men.
And the First Born? Would not stand a moment more to watch their children suffer. Ulivane prepared a curse while Valterra set to the creation of a world for their kind alone. Any human who had thus far partaken in the harm of their children would be plagued with starvation and poverty. The children of the First Born were drawn away into their own abode, where each of the First generation immediately added their personal touches, and a portal was opened to let the lesser kin, the horses, into this peaceful abode...
