Darkness cloaked the land, the shadows creeping across the loam until every inch was covered in the ebony stain. And the heavens above were dark as well; there was no moon to light the way. The stars twinkled as bright as ever, but they were small and did little to illuminate the path. Crickets sang their sharp song as thin wisps of fog began to gather in the long grass. Fall was ending, that was for sure. Chilling nights giving little company to those of solitude. The day had been a warm one, hot and sticky with humidity. Odd for the oncoming season, but never the less he could not complain. So he had a past, quite a horrid one at that. Leading such a band. Hannah, the old flame. And then there was Eclipse. Ori, the unfaithful. It was all over, his old terrian gone like the others. Desque correct? Well, it seems another shall feel this. Judas. But now the night was falling, and with it came the chill air. At this time of the evening it was hard to remember that it indeed was summer, you could easily forget yourself and believe it to be fall instead. The air was fresh and crisp, and when one breathed it almost stung. His muted footfalls quieted as he halted for a moment before again continuing the journey.
The one of ebon emerged from the devilish corrador he once traveld. Labriums pulled tight, brows colliding in a horrid furrow. Braces outstretched, a collected gate it was. Like a rocking horse who lost its rocker, appendeges released from the hold. Appex loomed foward, his shadows spreading. Nares of decay flared, cords connected to the rump twisting and twining with the wind. As if the threads wished to leave him at once, but was chained to the flesh of leather coating. The pealed labriums revealed the enamels of a serpent, venom dripping. Hah, perhapse he was to return with a pathetic wench. It will be his for the taking, the pregnant dog due for a delayed trip. Trip to the lands of rouge scarring, the heffars roaming. The very *friendly* persons of the kind group in theese quarters, have you still not relized your due trek? My dear it is such a shame, to be left in the dark with no outlet of light. Trapped in the closet, a lightbulb not to be found. None there to whipser in your ear, not to tell you what you are soon to enure. Oh but perhapse one shall come knocking, the key to your closet in hand. Releasing you from your prision, your tower. But then you will realize, your master of a nightmare has come. Chalky soil began to crumble benithe the chipped hooves of Sashe, tendons flexing this the constant throw of collums. A very isolated terrian, he wanted it. Whispers of a recent claim, hah. Judas the name? This did not phase him as the movements never swung idle. Barbs caught a branch as it outstretched near the dial of sashe, ivories snapping the insulant growth in half. The new found remains of what had already traveled through these lands had been quickly sighted and analized. Threads of ivory caught in the blank branches and scattered about the array of halloween theamed leafs.
So he was in the right place, the moon now dangeling before him. Illuminating the charred formation. "Judas, come on now. I am sure you know of my arrival, and of my sure intentions." A short chuckle escaped before the tones picked up again as they battled with the now growing winds. "It would be a shame to be late for such an important date." With that said his heels kicked up, soot spraying from behind the ragged irons as he turned. The twist enforced the bunching of the hind muscels which in turn thrusted him fowared as the lengthy leggings pulled out of under the restless formation. To the battle grounds he went, the thump of hooves slowly fading from ear shot.
