My feet were thrown far in front of me in a smart trot. I recognized my surroundings immediately as I entered the lands of Dalente. My hooves clanged loudly against the ground as the thin layer of grass on the rocks disappeared. Soon the hill leveled out, as I knew it would. I stopped, and looked around at the small patch of paradise. It was my paradise, whatever the altitude. I walked into the middle of it, and looked at the ground. The same hoof prints from when I had first taken this little patch of heaven as my own, there, on the ground. A little worn and faded, but there nonetheless. Oh, and that tree. Where was it? I pivoted in a complete circuit, and laid eyes on a familiar tree. It had been a weak little sapling when I had first seen it, and I had taken pity on the poor plant. “Remember me?” It may seem silly to talk to the tree, but I felt a deep sympathy between me and it. “We’ve both changed…” I muttered to myself. I looked at the old hoof prints, and compared them to the new ones. I had grown, even larger. Again, I reared. Calling out a shrill cry, I put my mark once again on the lands. Was Hollow back for good?

I galloped pointlessly across unfamiliar lands. My slick mane and tail flew like flags behind me. As a mare I had to be careful of ruthless stallions and the usual preditors and speed was the best for me. My long and slender legs carried me far and fast untill my eyes saw something unexpected. I slid to a sudden stop and the ground's dust flew into the air creating a silken brown veil over me. My eyes followed the stallion, but my body was frozen.I didn't dare make a sound or beckon to him for I had no thought of who he was or what he would do. My heart was pounding against my chest incrediably fast, whether from my running or sudden shock I do not know. My featherd feet felt as if they had been weighed down by bundles of gold and silver. I continued to forcefully stand my ground, waiting for time to take it's place.
