I lifted my pretty blue head, and looked around. I was alone, completely alone. Glacier had left, and I was lonely. I lowered my head, and grazed half heartedly at the small shoots of grass. I strode along, sighing every now and then. These lands had done me wrong. I had heard tales of Lemorsea as I grew up. My mama perceived it as a great, luscious land that would happily take on any equine. When I came here when I was in a spot of trouble, I was disappointed. The great lakes and rivers were no more than murky puddles. The happy horses leaping over flowers didn’t really exist. Maybe it was once great, but it’s time was up. The place my mother spoke of so fondly had grown old and tired. I know knew why she had never returned. I threw my head high up, bringing my whole front quarters up with it, and landed with alarming force. Suddenly, my body stiffened and I became alert. I had heard a small growl of pleasure in the bush, and wasn’t looking forward to finding out whom it was from. I saw a tan body creep out away from its cover. Its slim cat like body was pressed hard to the ground, ready to strike. I lashed out with my sharp hooves, although it had little effect. I crept back as it crept forward. Soon, more joined it, creeping threateningly towards me. I flinched as my hoof touched water. I had no choice. It had begun to rain now, and the river was rushing past at a dangerous speed. I edged back into the water. My feet kept being rushed out from behind me. It was obvious.
I was trapped…

((Well, a perfect setup for a very unrealistic savior. This should be eye candy!))
//:Wesson:\\ A snort as my harks ran forward, retracing the path of which way the call had come from. Oh no, towards the predators; how ironic. Well here we go again... I turned and dashed off, my large hooves digging up the sod as I trounced through the murky puddles. They had been drivin to desecretion by the rains that washed them brown with mud and gunk. Another snort as my ebony pillairs were dirtied, I hated that. As I breached the woods I spotted the mare backing up into the river, three cougars growling and hissing at the poor thing. I was heavy, sturdy, black, and well, awfully vicious at times. I pawed at the ground and an angry screech like sound crept from my maw as a obviously annoyed expression made it's way upon my face. I leapt forward, my head low as I raced towards the cats, ha, I laugh in the face of danger. They turned, raising their heads as I barreled closer, snorting and whinnying angrily. Two turned backing away and dashed off into the bushed, one horse was fine, but two was out of the question. The other though snarled and leapt to the side, cutting a slice down my face. A snap and snarl to the left and I slammed down right behind it, sending it slipping on the mud as I raced off into the brush after it. A moment later I turned and retraced my steps towards the river, hoping the mare hadn't drown herself already and trotted out towards her. My head and ears were forward and I flicked my head to rid my occuli of the wet mass of forelock. "Miss, miss are you alright?"
