Large black hocks struck the rocky ground, sounding like gunshots the rang off the surroundings. Lifting my dial the sun showed noon and my senses were telling me this shall be my home. My black orbs with such intentness searched the area, nostrils flaring searching for a scent, though none lingered. My eyes serached for life, but nothing breathed. I moved on once more, my body shaking with every step. The sight of a river was a good one and I drank long gulps of the clear blue water.
My thirst quenched, I followed the river and soon the sound of clashing water reached my harks. I trotted now, having my energy restored by the cool water. I stopped as the sight of a waterfall fell before me. What a beautiful sight! I turned my head upward again towards the sun saying noon and rang out from me, came my claim...

I smiled, now knowing I had a land to stay and what a mighty fine land it was too! I lifted my head to the aide and reared in happiness. Letting out another whinny. My mind was racing with thoughts and the one that seemed to stick out was the remaining poison in my blood. I was alone. I had been and I came abck to ground without a smile on my maw.
I drooped my head and thought for a while. I had to claim at least one mare. I needed a compainion. I lifted my head and turned around leaping into a canter. I raced out of the land to the claiming terra.
