Long, polished nails chafed leisurely at the mother earth. Engaging just long enough to tug relentlessly at the verdure. Mud slickly grasped at lacerated talons, yielding naught as claw stretched away, instead wrapping more securely about pedestal. Later the sun's heat would scorch the liquified dirt and it would fall off, piece by piece. A puzzle, but not the real one, no, the real puzzle was life. Bitten off edges, game pieces missing. An epic tale that could not be told, for all the faded and worn print. Written in blood. Ruby drops splattered above mud soaken flints, appearing to have been simply tossed on. Lean, thickly muscled limbs strained against the mire, the effort causing crimson tears to stand out more profoundly. Sloping upward from the brawny shanks was the rump and torso, both equally muscled. Yet slim and petite was her carcass, creating smooth, graceful strokes of appendages. Scouring retinas lay upon the expanse of azure, amused as the murky darkness grappled with the hands of the light, fighting for control of the sky. Cold, pointed depths traced back along the edges of the darkness, resting lightly upon the dead vegetation. Dead, as everything else out there. Either slaughtered or tired out by age living upon the damned earth and just simply wilted away. A cruelly crafted smile spread gradually upon kissers, curling up from the pressed line it had once been. Smirking, looking down upon all others. None were quite like this bitch. Manner was cold and slightly mocking, scornful vocals harmful. Always was there a bittersweet retort lingering on tongue, hidden behind incisors.
Sepia pigmented complexus glided quietly over the earth, silky movements creating a graceful gait. As a gazelle, lithe and quick, but with a wolf’s feral instincts and predator mind. Not one to mess with when angry, even better not to be messed with at all. Whip struck out along flanks, trying to flick away the invisible flies. More than nothing just to feel the pain, the welts rising up from where the threads had touched the flesh. Drapes hung thick and full, gleaming softly when the light sprang out from behind the canopy of trees. Locks drifted aimlessly in front of sockets, swinging to and fro. Slender, seemingly delicate towers were bent over poll, slidden down flat, but with enough room to cup to a side. There was nothing of interest about this place, but Aileen felt the urge to always keep alert. The unknown could attack if one was not prepared. As deathly intelligent mind raced, outward physical appearance was kept loose and calm. Flowing over fibres with deftness not supplied in others, the temptress knew not what would happen in these lands. Obviously, from the fellow brujas wandering it was a place for claiming. A light snort spat out mucus. They were waiting like puppets, waiting for someone stronger to control them. There was no life ahead for them, only a slaves life, chained down, beaten and whipped like the bitches they were. A waste. Then there were all the rest of the equines. Rambling about, working as robots. Each day was the same, forcing themselves to keep occupied, roaming in there “loneliness.” There were the ones that felt like they didnt belong, the ones insane with blood, fools. She had come to the conclusion that they were all hopelessly, blissfully blind to all that they are.
Aileen did not care to engage with those that could not see past the fog and mist. A waste of time. Precious time. All live and die, there is no other way. She salvaged what she could, seconds, minutes, hours. She did not need to be paused by a pointless conversation or such. Empire straightened slowly, leveling oricals to the horizon of smirking oaks. Epidermis shivered slightly as a cool draft kissed along her spine, zephyr whispering promises that would never come true. Concaves flared gently, summoning curious fragrances to passage through nasals with that squall. A few pathetic forest creatures hid in the foaliage, believing that they could not be found. How wrong they were. Instead of going on a pointless chase, the seraph slunk the opposite way. Bones creaked softly, the sultry beams of light appearing suddenly in dismal face. Shades flipped automatically over eyes, protecting the sensitive occuli. Damn it, her eyes were unaccustomed to the searing luminscenece, pain shot through her brain evolving in a massive headache. Blindly she shuffled in the quickest directions, forward, concetration on senses to direct her. Somehow it was possible, and before too long a blanket of murky obsidian dropped upon locked lids. With a small breath of relief coverings cautiously raised, allowing the sable light to soothe her painful perceptives. Fighting to clear her head was a challenge, eventually won. As soon as the gray wall disappeared from her mind, she chanced to figure out where her senses had led her. Unfamiliar vegetation sprouted dryly from the parchment.
Distantly irratated at having stranded Aileen stalked forward a few steps. Shadows engulfed her figure, dragging her farther into the abyss. Oaks grasped at fair drapes with pointed branches, weaving a complicated knot of leaves and twigs. As she tried to pull away the hold only tightened severly, until she realized she was trapped for now. Frigid facials quickly changed assertive, a jerk of cranium yielding nothing. Despising the simplicity it had taken to snare her in this mess, the demoness ripped at her threads with glinting dentals, trying to tear away. When at last she did the dryad quickly struggled away to a place of peace, a clearing in the damned forest. Skull shook as soon as she could move around without being caught again. Loathsome glare was sent back among the trees, replaced soon by the ominous facade.
