Daggers stepped lightly upon the topogrophy of the Royal Lands, ashen threads snaking forth to obscure the hardened gaze of the obsidian minx as she led out in a forceful trot. Auricles of a blackened shade slid from one site to the next, barely registering its flambouyant colors and ensnaring scenery. All concentration was centered on one thing: the powerful force that was pulling her towards these extravagent sights. It was as if an invisible rope had been tied around her midsection, and at the summoning of the King, that noose had tightened painfully and jerked her to lands unknown.
So now she was here, possibly against her will, and yet there was no looming figure that pushed her along, snapping its whip in order for her to go faster. Roughened sigh secaping flared narits, the charred ess knew why she was here, and although she would rather not dwell on it, she knew that deep in her black, vortex of a heart, she was here because of nanny duty. Kind of strange, eh? An equine molded in H.ell itself coming to care for the children of Royals, to take them under wing if needed. Cords snapping at her heels as if to quicken the pace, the ghostly enchantress folded her powerful pistons beneath her to lunge out in a graceful canter.
Sinew pumping rythmically to the steady staccato of hoofbeats, Ria soon caught site of her destination, the meetings spot of the King and Queen. Haunches putting her bulk in a forceful check, she slid from her fast pace to a sauntering walk, a slight jaunt evident with every step. Luminaries sweeping the vast area, all senses told her she was alone for now, and with a dry smirk, she realized that that was the way she perferred it. Crown flancing up towards the heavens, a hard scowl formed upon her dished facade, and she quickly slunk to the nearest spot of darkness available, silently cursing the cheery orb of light. Skull lowered to the lithosphere, Ria snatched at the jade stalks in a rather hastened matter, her mind telling her that she would not be unattended for long.
Chassis soon straightening, the ess let her visionaries take one more good long look at the perimeter, finding it still as empty as before. Ensuring her solitude, her frame sagged, corded sinew relaxing as the cooling shadows draped her in their sinister comfort. Shades closing half of her blackened orbs, Ria let half her mind rest while the other remained on the lookout, constantly aware of her surroundings. Charred dressings caressing her thin skin comfortingly, Ria took the moment of silence to rest, for hard times would soon fall upon her shoulders.
