So This is how its going to be? If you want it this way, So be it. But don't come crying back, Because your dead to me.
Distant ebony hued cotton blew slowly over the horizon. A trinket of ebon laced tawny moving with ease over the hilly landscape. The fem's darkly hued orbs glimpsed over her surroundings, seeing everything around her. This land was a peaceful one, one without lights and darks and those in between. Here, they had rid everything of the sort, which made this place such a great home. The ebon locks of the wench trendled in the flowing bitter winds that lurched at her nape. The Slowly approaching Seasons showing its wrath to all who were here. Surely all the equines of the lands of Lemorsea were taking salvage in their homelands. Unfortunately, Eclipse had no where but the roaming lands to venture and seek cover. Her past had been much terror and just plain hell. She had lost so much and had gained so, so little. Loosing what she thought to be her true love, she had found he was nothing but a coward. Word had lingered with her that he still wondered somewhere. But for all she knew, he was dead to her. Nares flared as she looked over the Delicate young oaks that wavered in the wind around her. Oh, how she wished to find a stag that could truly suit her and not prove to be a poser, nothing more. But, no matter how nice it was to dream, the odds of finding such a thing were one in a million. A large inhale of carbon seeped out Eclipse's salmons. The delicate minx's canvas glittered in the dancing rays, the little that were left from the rolling thick clouds. It had been quite a nice day earlier on, but it had grown much cooler and windier now. A slight chill rose over the wench as she strolled down the path. Her gait quickened greatly, attempting to find shelter somewhere out there. She knew the odds of a stud coming to her over the many others were slim to none. But, oh well, its not like she was all that special anyways. Her Look dropped slightly as she studied the ground before her. She slid to a stop, blowing at the ground before her pedestals. Something was wrong up ahead, danger had passed threw here. Or at least another creature besides one of her kind. Eclipse turned her path to head away from the danger, but the scent lingered all around the atmos. Her voice howled into the darkness that was now enveloping the final rays that danced across her facet. What was that smell? Eclipse had now become frantic, instincts to flee bit at her bodice, yet, what way could she go? The aroma was all around her, she didn't know if it was a safe one or a dangerous one... but she had never scented it before. Harks swiveled atop her visage, listening intently for movements. Her entire body frozen in time, as not to let anything see her all too easily. The fall leaves blended her in well. As long as she didn't move, she wouldn't be so easily seen. A crack thundered in the distance from behind her, Then from all the other sides as well. what was coming for her, and what would it do?
Stand it no more, Eclipse fled. She turned and ran down the path, weaving the trees that she ran across. What ever it was that was coming for her, she refused to let them catch her. Thunder rolled from her hooves, blindly running toward nothing, but she was running from something... the unknown. What were they? She hadn't taken the time to look. Eclipse knew many new creatures lived in these lands of Lemorsea, but she didn't want to stick around and find out... well, she couldn't resist her instincts. Lappets plastered back atop her pole as she fled. The darkness overhead making it harder for her to see within the woodlands that she now treaded within. Visage lay even with her spine, everything strung out to give her maximum velocity. Slowly but surely, she made her way across a river and continued on. She could here something behind her, more than one. She didn't think it was anything friendly, nor did she want to see the fangs that would be bared at her. The chiseled mare ran wildly still. Her endurance was great as she had trotted most her way or lope. Running may be fun, yet it was tiring. Her pistons began to shake as the ground had before, the slinging sod slowly lessening from her wheeling hooves. Kissers parted as the nymph heaved for oxygen. She needed water. Looking around her, she realized she had no idea where she was. She hoped she hadn't wandered out of the claiming grounds and into breeding territory. She didn't want a foal from some sex hungry stag. No. And She refused to let anything near her without her permission. The Wench's optics scanned her surroundings. She saw some femmes just resting about her.. she hadn't wandered too far out of her starting point. Looking behind her, she saw nothing but clashing twigs and branches. It had been the slinging loam particles hitting the branches as well as tiny pebbles cracking branches. Foolish as she was, she was still Eclipse and that was what she was known for. In the distance, she heard a small babbling stream. Mustering up the energy, the flicka loped toward it's sound. How refreshing a drink would be. Her now lathered canvas heaved for breath still, as she slowed to make her way down a muddy hill side. There, the aqua flowed gently and she thrust her mug into the cool aqua. Eclipse's stilts wavered, her head feeling light. Struggling up the hill, she slid back down. Her energy was drained. She dropped to the ground, weak and shaking. She needed rest, but she was down a sloping hill, who would see her? Probably no one. A deep exhausted sigh was emitted from her oxygenators. Her lids closed as she rested. If a stag came, he came. If not, so be it.
{ o o c ; sorta bad.. oh well. 1,028 word.}

We all Fall Down**
It seemed he was spinning, in confusion, and in alarm. He was dizzy, surprised, taken back. He had had to snap out of his sire's ways, and had tentatively invited Moulin to Cotandra, and with that, had left. She had gone to the ocean shore, so that was a relief, especially after how their whole conversation had gone. It had been a mess. It had been awful, and he had needed to get out of it. So now, he was moving on, but feeling better that the porcelain femme was in the warm beaches, to rest and recover, and so now, he felt no quilt. But now, that was behind him, but he could not quite forget. And, he couldn't help but to muse over Titanic meeting Moulin, a grin slipped onto his mask. If Moulin was to disobey or act up in any way, he had no doubt that Titanic would take care of it, as she had taken care of the pesky mare, Fidelia, in Entity. Chuckling quietly to himself, he had, for a few minutes, forgotten this purpose of his. To gather a couple of mares before winter to bring to Cotandra. He already had Moulin, so he really was only looking for one more femme. He didn't wish for Cotandra to become too crowded, though it was quite vast and spacious, it's boundaries stretching on and on. But for now, he was just searching for one more banshee. One, and then, he was going home.
Obsidian czar was striding gallantly through the lands of claiming, glances thrown to each dove, trying to decipher the good from the bad. He could not classify on looks alone, but he just had to choose from the several that were lurking. Plume slapped occasionally at his gleaming hocks, out of mere boredom, nothing else, the bloodsuckers having vanished in the biting cold. Cotandra had been pleasantly warm, as it remained that way year round, making it the perfect place to rest up for winter and the perfect place to thrive. He had even gone splashing in the waves with Phantasie, and chills had not sprung within him until after a whiles time. But upon leaving the land, frigid winds had lashed out at his bulk, and he had shivered countless times, along with a numerous amount of huddling with his back turned against the gusts of wind. A sigh heaved from his cage, for, in his scan of the lands, nothing had really stuck out at him. So, he would talk to someone else. Deciding to round a slight knoll to circle back to the staggered mares, he gasped, for there was a tawny stroked femme lying a bit in the distance, having been hidden by the hill's appearance. Instantly his heart went out to her, and he felt utmost sympathy. She reminded him of Moulin, both were quite weak. He began to scurry to wards her in a hurried pace, when all of a sudden, the clouds opened, and snow began to fall. Winter was upon them. He had to hurry.
Flakes rapidly feel from the darkened sky, which remained a gray, almost black through the whole ordeal. Quickly, an ivory blanket coated the ground, shallow at first, but it would soon pile up. The poor being was lying on the ground, she would be covered in freezing in a minuscule amount of time. Time seemed to pass in eternities as he fled to wards her, his pace quickening from an ambled to a sprint. Appendages rose in one swift movement as his gaits changed dramatically, flints rising from the topography as quickly as they hit it. Harks were blown back wards by the winds by his forceful movement, and he was set and determined to reach the fem. For some reason, an overwhelming sense of heart had groped him, he needed to reach her, to help. He no longer was cautious or worried about his footing on the slippery loam, which was slick with the snow. She needed him. She might not know it, but soon she would. If she was this weak now, snowfall and storms wouldn't help her. He was almost there, he knew it. The distance from where he first started had been so deceiving, it was a much longer stretch of land than it appeared, and that he had assumed. He felt the muscles begin to tire from the exertion, but he paid no attention. He just had to get there, and get there quickly. The weariness began to envelope him, his stride grew quicker and more frenzied, he stretched to the limits of his power. He was almost there. Soon, he could help.
Finally, he was within a few feet of her. From what he knew, she had not moved, due to fatigue and weakness, at least, such was what he presumed. Perhaps it was a sense of loss, he was not sure. But then, his original theory was confirmed with a hidden coat of dried lather that was started to be covered by the flakes, and he suddenly gasped aloud, which he was sure had started her. As he halted, and got a better perspective so to say, he found she really was beautiful. An amber hue, accented with onyx points. but, she must have been freezing. And, with the dried sweat, she was sure to become ill with more exposure to the elements. For less than a moment, he froze uncertain of what to do. But then, natural instincts and a kindness that he genuinely had came into play, to save her more than him. The ivory flakes were quickly covering her hide, making her a pearl or porcelain hue, and she must have truly been frozen. Moving into the wind so that he blocked her own body from it's harsh blows, him taking the brutal beatings of the bitter airs, the flakes stopped settling upon her pelt. Without a thought, dome swept lower, almost parallel to the blanket of snow that was increasing in thickness, but rose so that his mug brushed against her barrel. Once touching her skin, plush swept back and forth over her sleek, gorgeous bodice, whisking away the snow that had settled upon her, and revealed the hide that was of a tawny color. Murmuring quietly, barely audible, only able to be heard by her. Sorry, if I've offended you in any way.After having finished "clearing her off", and as he shielded her from snowfall, which would make a great difference, he quickly blurted out an explanation. I'm Kyr, from the ocean shore, Cotandra. Please, do forgive me if I'm making you uncomfortable right now.. He was talking about the protection he was offering from the winds, as he sort of stood over her. He then continued. ..it's just, you seem weak, though I'm not sure if it was just temporary, or if you are truly suffering. Either way, I'm sure being covered by this snowfall would not appeal to you. Allowing a short chuckle, as if to somewhat lighten the mood, he added. And may I ask, what is your name? He really sort of wanted to rush this along, the elements would eventually cause them all to suffer a beating.
[ooc-uhhh..yeah. sorry, since in your last post, she was lying down, I acted as if she was still lying down ]

The small figure lay ed there, still. Her bodice now blanketing with the large ivory flakes, she was weak and knew it would be a miracle to be found. He lids closed, for she felt the last feel of hope fade from her frigged limbs. Suddenly, a darkly ashed figure stopped the blinding winds, allowing her optics to pry open and peer at the kind being. He was a large stag, with very proud yet gentle features. Perhaps it had been a miracle, or just plain luck. Her frozen pelt and fatigue allowed her nothing but stillness. She was far too tired, far too weak to move or do anything but just lay there. Never before in her life had she felt so helpless, and lord how she hated that feeling. Eclipse was by far one of the most rebellious and outspoken fems around. However, it had cost her some every now and again, but she felt it had more worth to be who you are then to lie about it. The minuscule audits flicked and swiveled atop her visage, letting him know she wasn't just a lifeless corpse. The small pelting flakes and furious winds were enough to kill someone, and she prayed this stag had come to her aid. Not just to watch her lie here and suffer. Eclipse felt small strokes across her tawny canvas, the thick snow leaving her sides. He had come to help, he had come here to help her. A smile spread across her features, feeling slight feeling rising threw her once more. The nymph attempted to get onto her knees, her curventure lifting and heaving but she just groaned and layed against the cold loam once more. It was hopeless. She was freezing and had no energy. She would be dead by the next sunrise if she didn't get out of here. Her limbs began to quiver from the cold, salmons flaring. What stag would want a dieing mare? If he stayed, he would become sickly as well... or worse.
His lyrics rang within her harks, feeling his warm voice within her. Doing her best, her words were jagged and full of weakness. Her voice wavered and stuttered from the cold her attempted replies. "I-I-I 'm just s-s-so w-weak. I'm s-s-so c-cold... T-there's n-no w-way yo-you c-can help m-me. If y-you st-stay here y-you t-too w-will d-die." her visage lowered to the hardened sod, the light in her eyes leaving. "I j-just c-can't f-feel m-my l-legs. A-and th-they're s-stuck in t-the m-mud. B-By the w-way m-my n-name i-s Eclipse." a weak and weary smile lit her features. She knew he would never want her. She was weak and freezing. Why would he waste his time on her of all creatures? A deep heave left her cage, for she feared he would just leave her there to die. But then again, any stag would. They barely knew each other, so it wouldn't appear a great loss to him if something had happened to her. She sighed. She wondered if she would die here, the end of her tale lost in the howling winds of Lemorsea. She wanted more than anything to return with the stag. feel the warm ocean waters. However, she had this nagging voice that told her she would never rise from this position. No. She told her self she wouldn't let herself die in such a shameful manner. She was determined to live, the fire in her heart, her courageous soul burning. Rocking herself, she made it to her up-right position. Now to stand completely.
Feeling like a new-born colt, the flicka put one piston before the other and attempted to rise. Half way up, she came clattering down. She tried again but failed. If this stag wouldn't leave, he would hopefully help her. If she could get out of this wind and cold, she would make it threw. Eclipse was not only physically strong, but also mentally and socially as well. She could run for miles, but she was far too cold and weak from that right now to even try moving quicker than a walk. The kindling eyes glanced up hopingly toward Kyr. Perhaps he would help her... "Kry, please help me... I want so badly to get up, but this mud is slick and my footing can be confirmed. Please Kyr...... please."Eclipse wanted to live, to continue her young life for many years to come. To have a foal to love and have a herd and someone to love her. She wondered if anyone would try to give all of that to her. Though many had said and promised her this, none of them had ever made it past the words on their lips. Hopefully, he would lend her the help she needed. She needed this chance. She may have done minor things before, but she had changed from the little hatred that had once followed her. She had been angry, enraged from the lies and broken promises from her previous steeds. So far, her life had had little joy, and merely no love at all. All she had ever wanted was someone to love her and take care of her. To give her what she needed... a home. A place to feel safe, to live, to love and be loved. Was that so much to ask?

a helping hand**The tawny stroked femme was obviously struggling, and instantly, sympathy and worry clenched his soul, and an almost whimper-like sound fled from his mug and pity. Boa extended as plush gently touched her shoulder, she was cold. Ice cold. Survival efforts were futile if she remained here, in claiming. Finally, she mustered up the strength to speak. Eclipse. What a beautiful, exotic name. But her next worsd were really what effected him. She wanted his help. Oh, how badly he loged to give it to her, and he certainly would. She tried without success more than once at standing, and quickly, he came to her aid. Eclipse, trust me. I will help you. he murmured very quietly and soothingly, before, as she once pushed up on to her fores, his weight was thrown against hre rump, forcing her upwards, and she eventually stood. Though he was certain her knees would buckle any moment now and she would go down, he quickly sidled up against her, whispering gently. Lean against me. He stood for a fw moments, letting her catch her breath and regain every ounce of possible strength, dentals nibbling at her withers as he waited, trying to caress and massage her, hoping she would find comfort. Finally, he offered a slight nudge, in means of their beginning travel. I'm sorry we cannot wait longer, but we must go, back to Cotandra that is. You will thrive and be nourished, you will recover. But, we must move now, it is not too far. Then he took a step, leaning in a sort so that her body weight could fall upon his shoulders as she ambled along, that way, she would not go down, and she would have support and help every step of the way. He was taking the shortest possible route, even though it meant the freezing gusts and flakes were pelted at the pair, but he knew they had to get to Cotandra as soon as possible. To allow the focus to wander, he talked rapidly, and almost absent mindedly, hoping to get her mind off the brutal elements. In Cotandra now are Titanic, Phantasie, and Moulin. Titanic is my lead mare, with Phantasie being our filly. Moulin just recently made the journey to Cotandra. He added, trying to make her feel mroe welcome. You will fit right in, believe me. The winds whipped at them, but they continued on relentlessly. Nature would not get the best of them, not by any means. He took in a moment to gaze at Eclipse, and did not quite see what was before him. Now, she was thin, weak, and mangy. She was desperate and frail looking, a pathetic sight. But what he saw was what she would soon become in his lands of Cotandra, and he vividly saw the future. She was obviously beautiful, and would flourish, and grow into good health, as he was. He really couldn't wait for the day to come.It just made him want to get to Cotandra all the more, but he knew he must keep the slow steady pace. So he did. And soon, the dreams would come true.
[ooc-laugh and pokes tiny post- it gets the job done.. for now. I like, totally powerplayed, I assumed she would come with him. hope that's alright? if you were planning on coming, either you or I can post next in the thread in Cotandra ]
